Activity: Kayaking.
Season: September to April.
Duration: 3 days - 2 nights or
2 days - 1 night.
Level of difficulty: Open to
everybody. No previous experience required, only the necessary physical
condition for rowing 4-5 hours a day. And… good mood too!!
Lodging: one or two nights at
rural camping sites.
Meals: Full bording. From day 1
lunch to day 2 or 3 snack.Beverages not included
Itinerary:
We set off from Bariloche at 10 am to the sources of river Limay
(in mapuche language: crystal like). After preparing the water equipment,
and once the guides make the safety issues clear, we all get on
boat and start off our 2 or 3 exciting days in the river.
We will enjoy not only kayaking but camping in the riversides, sharing
"mate" (hot herb beverage) and "asados" (traditional barbecue),
meeting local people from Villa Llanquin, discovering the amazing
geological forms of Valle Encantado (Enchanted Valley), until finally
we arrive to Confluencia Traful and return to Bariloche.
 Transfer
to Bariloche.
Includes: Transfer to
(sources of Limay River) and from (Confluencia Traful) kayaking,
tent and full camp equipment, full board, English speaking kayak
guides, kayak for two, local coordination
Not included: Accommodation
and meals in Bariloche (before and after); sleeping bag, medical
assistance; tips.

Required equipment: Day pack (30
liters), sleeping bag ( - 10º); sleeping pad; comfortable sport
shoes and sandals; 2 pairs of thermal stockings; trousers and shorts;
T-shirt or shirt; fleece pullover; waterproof jacket; gloves; sunglasses
with UV protection; sun block lotion; small torch; water container;
towel and personal toiletries; plastic bags.
