We

Huapi Lake's ("tiger's island" in mapuche language) natural drainage
makes up the Limay River, which in turn joins the Neuquén River
to form the Black River that finally flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
Come on and live it up! An experience that will change your mind.
Enjoy the river experience! Five days and four nights living in
camp sites, indulging yourself in games, hikes, and swimming, meeting
the few and marvelous inhabitants of Patagonia, tasting a delicious
grilled lamb in the "criollo" way and sharing our friendly "mate"
(traditional hot herb beverage). We will go up from the Limay´s
mouth to its confluence with Traful River, then into a vast lake
formed by the Alicurá´s dam. Deep into the steppe region, visiting
places to where only us can take you, including a "ghost town" that
was once the home of 7,000 families during the dam works. In that
point our expedition ends and we return to Bariloche.
