Back
country skiing
This outdoor activity is ideal
for those who long for freedom, skiing where no lifts exist, far
from crowds and noise, treading on fresh snow. Going off the beaten
track along valleys and ridges, discovering mountain huts, staying
there for the night and experiencing their magic atmosphere. Enjoying
the ascent with seal skins to places you dreamed of and then going
downhill in Alpine skiing style, places where the only ski tracks
will be yours.
Cross country skiing
It
began thousands of years ago in Scandinavian countries when people
used skis as a means of transport. In due course this particular
way of skiing became a very popular sport and in 1924 it was officially
accepted as a regular event at the Winter Olympic Games. This activity
is not only suitable for competition but proves to be perfect for
the whole family, because learning the first steps is very simple.
The instructor begins the session in places with slight inclination
and then takes you along well marked routes. Nordic skiing allows
you the pleasure of not only skiing downhill but also along flat
ground and uphill as well, being able to choose from the easiest
to the most difficult route to suit your requirements. It is an
ideal mix of sport and nature for the whole family. Contact
us about different options.
